BigFilebox is designed to eliminate problems frequently encountered by businesses when exchanging large files or folder structures. When email, FTP or sending via the post is not an option you can easily subscribe to one of our four flexible plans and get that data sent within minutes. Need data from a colleague or associate? No problem - all you need to do is issue a token via email giving them one-click access to a Filebox. How long a token lasts and whether access is read only or read/write is controlled by you. If a token has been issued in error it can be revoked at any time.
Filebox plans can upgraded or downgraded to suit your file exchange needs. If you subscribe to one of our premium plans you even get to put your company logo at the top of the page. BigFilebox is secured via 128 bit encryption using banking standard HTTPS protocol. Additionally BigFilebox has inbuilt Anti-virus scanning for peace of mind.
Once you have signed up and logged-in creating a Filebox is a piece of cake. Each Filebox is individually password protected and can be accessed independently by users in your organisation.

No software installation required Because the BigFilebox upload engine works with Java, anyone can use it. If Java is not installed on your computer you can always upload single files via your browser using the alternative method
Create an account
When you set up an account with BigFilebox.com, you are issued with a secure online file exchange facility exclusive to you, and a direct access web domain name of your choosing.
It will look like this: https://yourcompanyname.bigfilebox.com
You can then create Fileboxes to organise your content, and within a Filebox you can create folder and file structures.
Choose one of our premium plans and you can create Projects, groups of fileboxes, which help you to keep data segregated and organised more effectively and efficiently.
Most of our plans also allow you to replace the default graphic with your own logo, setting your business apart from the rest of the crowd.
Deposit
Once your account is set up, you can add data to your Filebox folders via two methods:
1. With Java installed, you can upload multiple files and folders.
Click on the upload icon open a local file browser to find the files on your hard drive which youíd like to upload. Remember, with BigFilebox, you can select single files or entire file hierarchies. All the files within a hierarchy can be uploaded in just a couple of clicks, with the folder hierarchy preserved within the selected Filebox.
Alternatively simply drag and drop files (or folders) onto the upload icon and the files are uploaded to the selected Filebox. It couldn't be simpler or easier.
2. If you or your associates don't have Java installed, an alternative upload method is built into BigFilebox, but you are limited to uploading one file at a time.
Files uploaded to your Filebox can be stored there for as long as you wish, though it should be noted that BigFilebox is not a storage or archiving solution, it is a file exchange application. As for security concerns, with files encrypted as they travel across the network, and by choosing strong passwords, you can be sure your files are safe from prying eyes and only those trusted partners you choose to invite to view them are able to do so.
BigFilebox is a locked safety deposit box for those you don't know and a secure display case of your crucial data for those that need to know.
Collaborate
Use BigFilebox's 'token' system to invite your partners around the world to access a Filebox. By creating a token, you issue access rights, set expiry dates and read and write privileges. The token management section provides a handy reference, allowing you to keep track of tokens already issued within your Filebox.
When sending a token, BigFilebox integrates seamlessly with your email client, automatically creating an email containing a direct one-click route to your Filebox.
The token holder can then, at their convenience, download content from the Filebox and upload their data to the Filebox.
