To help you understand the potential of BigFilebox, we have created a walk-through of a typical usage of a BigFilebox.
The scenario
John is a software developer starting on building a new website for a client. John makes daily snapshots of the web site available for the client to see, and the client sends John files with copy for the website.
John employs a graphic design agency to create the artistic designs for the site. He also uses a freelance HTML team to convert the designs into web pages.
Setting the security boundaries
John starts by creating a new Project in the BigFilebox system.
He then thinks about what information will need to be exchanged, and who should have access to it.
- John will need to upload site snapshots for the client to download
- The client will upload copy for John to integrate into the site
- The designer will upload designs for John to review
- The freelance HTML team will need to download the designs and copy, and upload the HTML they create
