Tokens
A Filebox manager can log into the Filebox using its name and password to administer the Filebox, and to upload and download files.
Access for partners is given by issuing them with tokens. A token specifies if the partner can only download, or upload and download files. A token is also given an expiry date on creation, to ensure the partner can only access the Filebox for as long as they need to.
Creating the tokens
John creates a Download Only token for the 'Snapshot' Filebox. He sends this to the client so they will be able to download snapshots from the Filebox but not delete them or upload new ones.
He creates an Upload/Download token for the 'Copy' Filebox and sends this to the client, so they can upload files into this Filebox. He creates a Download Only token and sends it to the HTML team so they will be able to log in and download new copy documents, but not alter or delete existing ones.
An Upload/Download token for the 'Designs' Filebox is created for the designer to upload designs into. A Download Only token is created and sent to the HTML team to allow them to download the designs.
Finally a Download Only token for the 'HTML' Filebox is created, and sent to the HTML team for them to upload the finished pages for John.
